Pagpapantig Worksheets

Below are two PDF files with worksheets that ask the student to syllabicate Filipino words. The first set of worksheets are appropriate for first to fourth graders. The second set of worksheets are for fifth graders and older students.

I did not make answer keys because as I have explained in my previous post, the syllabication of certain Filipino words are changed because of the syllabication rules of the Ortograpiyang Pambansa of the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino.

As a teacher or tutor, you may choose to follow the old or new way of syllabication and check the worksheets accordingly.

You may print and distribute these worksheets to your children or students, but you may not do so for profit. You also may not upload these PDF files in any other website such as Scribd or SlideShare, or cloud storage sites such as Google Drive or Dropbox.

Magandang araw po. Paano po pantigin ang motorsiklo, mo-tor-sik-lo o mo-tor-si-klo?

According to the UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino, it is mo-tor-sik-lo.
