Samut-samot Filipino Worksheets Bundle Volume 2 (2018)

The bundle image above was designed using graphics by Kari Bolt (link below) and Lisa Glanz (www.lisaglanz.com). After months of working on-and-off on this huge bundle, I'm happy to announce that it's finally available. This new bundle is a compilation of concepts taught in kindergarten and first grade. Like Volume 1, this bundle is for sale and it is a set of several PDF files. All the instructions and labels on the worksheets and lesson sheets of this product are in Filipino. Only the Terms of Use and Product Description are in English. The pages in this bundle are black and white, not colored. The bundle includes alternate pages for certain topics. For example, in the PDF file Mga Hugis, there are three pages for the oval shape, i.e., obalo, biluhaba, and habilog. In the PDF file Mga Bahagi ng Katawan, there are boy and girl versions of the lessons…

Ang Pagbabahin ni Pabling (Maikling Kuwento)

I'm happy to share with you a short story (in Filipino) that I've written about a young monkey trying to find the solution to his persistent sneezing. I've also made some questions about the story that the student can answer to test his or her comprehension. The PDF file has three pages for the story and two pages for the questions. I thought this would be a nice read-aloud story for young students or an introduction to reading Filipino words that end in -ing or -in. I drew the illustrations of the monkey in the PDF file. The PDF file also features clip art by Kari Bolt and Little Red's Clipart. A font by Kimberly Geswein was also used. Pang-abay Worksheets for Grade 1

Someone recently requested for worksheets on pang-abay (adverb in Filipino) for Grade 1 students. I looked at a couple of Filipino textbooks and found that the word pang-abay is not introduced in Grade 1 (correct me if I'm mistaken). The terms salitang panlunan and salitang pamanahon are used to indicate adverbs of place and adverbs of time, respectively. I made three worksheets on salitang panlunan and salitang pamanahon. The links to the PDF files are below. I also made a worksheet on identifying adverbs in a sentence (bilugan ang pang-abay). Please read the Terms of Use below: You may print and distribute these worksheets to your children or students, but you may not do so for profit. You may not upload these PDF files on any other website. You may not share, distribute, or sell digital copies of these files to others. Here are the links to the worksheets: Salitang…

Ang Bahay na Gawa ni Lucas

The tale "This is the House That Jack Built" is a nursery rhyme that is described to be a cumulative tale or a chain tale in which the lines are repeated as the tale progresses. I made a similar tale in Filipino (link to the PDF file below), adapted from "This is the House That Jack Built." I also made three worksheets about the Filipino tale I wrote. If you have any suggestions on how to make the tale better, please leave a comment below. I drew some of the illustrations in the PDF file. Others were downloaded from openclipart.org. The PDF file also features clip art by Kari Bolt.
