Since the letter C is a borrowed letter and most words in Filipino that begin with C are borrowed words and proper nouns, I did not include this letter. Patinig at Katinig

Below is the link to a pdf file with two activity sheets. Patinig at Katinig In the first activity sheet, the child is asked to color the flowers with patinig (Filipino vowels). In the second activity sheet, the child is asked to color the small flags on buntings with katinig (Filipino consonants). Below is a connect-the-dots activity sheet that asks the child to connect the dots from 1 to 20. Pagtukoy sa mga Bagay o Hayop Worksheets

The worksheets in the two pdf files below ask the child to identify the object, animal, or person being described. For example, the child is asked to color the animal with wings (Kulayan ang hayop na may pakpak.). The child is asked to color or encircle his or her answer. These worksheets are appropriate for preschool or first grade students. If the child is not reading yet, the teacher or parent can read the instruction to the child.

Katinig Worksheets

You may print and use the worksheets in this post for your students and children, but please do not distribute them for profit.  All illustrations are by samutsamot_mom. Isulat ang Katinig :  This is a set of three worksheets.  Each worksheet asks the student to write the missing consonant (katinig) or consonants to complete the Filipino words for the illustrated animals, fruits, and objects.  The thumbnails are shown below.  Note that NG/ng is considered as one consonant in the Filipino alphabet.

Mga Prutas (Part 2)

In a previous post (Mga Prutas), I posted lesson sheets and mini-flashcards about several fruits.  I added six more fruits to these lesson sheets and mini-flashcards.  The thumbnails of the new pages are shown below. All illustrations are by samutsamot_mom. You may print and distribute the sheets of the pdf files in this post to your children or students, but you may not do so for profit.
