The Kailanan ng Panghalip na Panao refers to the grammatical number of a personal pronoun, whether it is singular (isahan) or plural (maramihan). The Panauhan ng Panghalip na Panao refers to the grammatical person of a personal pronoun. Unang Panauhan  (First Person) - refers to the speaker or speakers Pangalawang Panauhan (Second Person) - refers to the person or persons being addressed by the speaker or speakers Pangatlong Panauhan (Third Person) - refers to the person or persons other than the speaker/speakers and the person/persons being addressed; refers to the person or persons being talked about Based on a few Filipino textbooks, the personal pronouns in black (in the table above) are introduced in second grade.
