Maikling Kuwento para sa Araw ng mga Puso

Happy Valentine's Day in advance to all my subscribers! As a Valentine gift, here's a short story (titled "Ang mga Bulaklak ni Emma") that you may read to your children or students for Valentine's Day (Araw ng mga Puso). There are also 10 multiple choice questions at the end of it. I wrote this short story months ago but changed it to make it more appropriate for the coming occasion. The PDF file 13 MB in size and is not a printable. It is for on-screen viewing only. You would need an application that can display PDF files. If you download the PDF file, it is understood that you agree to abide by the Terms of Use included in the file and those on this website (see the top menu item Terms of Use). Maikling Kuwento: Ang Puno ng Mangga

I wrote this short story a long time ago, but I wasn't able to post a printable. With most classes still being held online, I decided to make a version for on-screen viewing instead. Below is a link to a PDF file with the short story "Ang Puno ng Mangga". It includes 10 questions at the end of the story. However, answers are not provided. I imagined that it could be read by the student or a parent on a gadget or read to students by a teacher or tutor teaching an online class. If you are a teacher or tutor, you can send your clients the link to this post so they can download the short story themselves. However you want to use it, if you download the PDF file, it is understood that you agree to abide by the Terms of Use included in the file and those…

Magbasa Tayo!: Ang Utos ni Nanay

This is another installment to the set of Magbasa Tayo! worksheets. It includes a short story, several multiple-choice questions about the story, and a short-answer question. The short story and questions are in Filipino. I did not indicated the grade level because it would be best for you to judge whether the story is appropriate for your child's (or student's) reading level. The first page of the PDF file contains its Terms of Use. Downloading the PDF file means you agree to abide by these terms. The clip art images and fonts used in this product are owned by the artists mentioned in the Credits Page of the PDF file.  The clip art images used in this product are by Little Red’s Schoolhouse and Kari Bolt. Ang Pagbabahin ni Pabling (Maikling Kuwento)

I'm happy to share with you a short story (in Filipino) that I've written about a young monkey trying to find the solution to his persistent sneezing. I've also made some questions about the story that the student can answer to test his or her comprehension. The PDF file has three pages for the story and two pages for the questions. I thought this would be a nice read-aloud story for young students or an introduction to reading Filipino words that end in -ing or -in. I drew the illustrations of the monkey in the PDF file. The PDF file also features clip art by Kari Bolt and Little Red's Clipart. A font by Kimberly Geswein was also used.
