Mga Hayop Worksheets

To add to the free Preschool Filipino Worksheets Bundle Vol. 2, I've reworked a few worksheets on animals and added new ones. Below is the link to a 6-page PDF file that shows different animals labeled with the Filipino names for them. The animals are grouped as Mga Alagang Hayop (Pets), Mga Hayop sa Kabukiran (Farm Animals), Mga Hayop as Kagubatan (Forest Animals), Mababangis na Hayop (Wild Animals), and Mga Hayop sa Dagat (Sea Animals). Several of the clip art used were obtained from www.openclipart.org. The rest of the illustrations were made by samutsamot_mom. Mga Karaniwang Hayop Handwriting Booklet

The pdf file below has pages with illustrations of common animals labeled with their Filipino names as well as the English translations of these names. The student is asked to trace the name of the animal and rewrite it on the lines below the word he or she traced. Each page can be cut up into four smaller pages and made into a booklet. There are 24 animals included in this handwriting booklet. The first page may be used as the cover and back page. The students may be asked to color the illustrations and decorate the cover page. Filipino Handwriting Worksheets (Mga Hayop Part 1)

The link Mga Hayop_1 opens a pdf file that contains four pages of handwriting worksheets. Each page has six boxed illustrations of animals with labels. The preschool student can practice writing the Filipino names for different animals by tracing the labels. The thumbnails below show what the worksheets look like. The student may be asked to create a small booklet by coloring the illustrations, cutting out the boxed illustrations, making his or her own booklet cover, and stapling all the pages together.
