Mga Damdamin Flashcards

Last year I posted a Filipino version of the Feelings Chart (see it here).  Except for the illustration for tired (pagod), I used the same illustrations to make flashcards for teachers and parents. These may be cut and pasted on pieces of cardboard or cartolina, and shown to a small group of preschoolers or first graders. The flashcards may also be used to make a booklet. Click on the link below to open the 7-page pdf file with the feelings flashcards. Kalinisan ng Katawan

Recently, I received a request for worksheets on things that begin with the letters of the Filipino alphabet.  For example, a worksheet on the letter A would have illustrations of things that begin with A (aso, atis, anak, araw, etc.).  Instead of introducing Filipino words according to their first letters, I thought it would be better to introduce words for related things. The pdf file below has three pages (thumbnails are shown below).  The first two pages have illustrations of things used for keeping our bodies clean.  The objects are labeled.  Some things like shampoo and toothpaste have no direct Filipino translations (syampu and tutpeyst are listed as pronunciations, not as actual words in the UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino). The last page is a worksheet that asks the child to color the things that are used to keeping the body clean. All illustrations are by samutsamot_mom. You may print and distribute…
