Description: This product is written in the FILIPINO language. It is for non-commercial on-screen viewing only. It is NOT A PRINTABLE. The story “Hansel and Gretel” by the Brothers Grimm was adapted and translated in Filipino. It can be presented to students during in-person or online classes. The product has two PDF files, each with 38 pages. One file has speech and thought bubbles and the other has none. You will need an application that can view PDF files such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and view it in Full Screen Mode. Mass distribution, commercial distribution, and uploading the product to the internet for third party access are prohibited. If you purchase this product, it is understood that you agree to abide by these Terms of Use.

“Si Goldie at ang Tatlong Oso” Slideshow (U.S. $3.00)

“Si Goldy at ang Tatlong Oso” Slideshow | 30 slides | $3.00

Description: This product is written in the Filipino language. It is a slide show that shows the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in Filipino (Si Goldy at ang Tatlong Oso) but with a twist at the end. I posted the story with black and white images on my blog. You can check it out here if you would like to read the story first. In this PowerPoint Show, I added more slides and the pages are in full color. You would need a PowerPoint program installed in your device to open the file or an app that can open a PowerPoint Show (.pps). After reading a slide to your child or student, you can click anywhere on the slide to go to the next slide. Please download and read the Terms of Use before buying this product.

“Ang Bata sa Tula” Mini E-book and Video (U.S. $ 1.50)

“Ang Bata sa Tula” Mini E-book and Slideshow | 16 slides | $1.50

Description: THIS PRODUCT IS FOR ON-SCREEN VIEWING ONLY. IT IS NOT A PRINTABLE PRODUCT.

This product is written in the Filipino language. It is a mini e-book of ten short Filipino poems about children (five boys and five girls). Each poem has four lines. Titled “Ang Bata sa Tula” (The Child in the Poem), this product can be used for practice reading Filipino, recreational reading, or as a motivational activity for a lesson on Filipino rhyming words. The ebook has three versions listed below.

1. Ang Bata sa Tula.pdf: This file shows each 4-line poem in one page. Going to the next page shows another poem.

2. Ang Bata sa Tula_Per Line.pdf: This file shows the line one at a time until the entire poem is displayed. A teacher or parent may prefer that each line be read first before the next line appears. Going to the next page shows the next line of the poem.

3. Ang Bata sa Tula.mp4: This video is 3 minutes and 38 seconds long. It has no music and no reading voices because it is meant to be read aloud for the learner or read silently by the learner. The lines of the poem are displayed consecutively and a couple of seconds apart. Pages transition with a page curl effect.

“Kaya Ko” Video Poem (U.S. $ 1.00)

“Kaya Ko” Video Poem | 18 slides | $1.00

Description: This product is written in the Filipino language. It is a short video (an mp4 file that is 2:32 minutes long) of the Filipino poem Kaya Ko (I Can). Written from the perspective of a child, it tells of the few things (specifically 12 things) that a child can do with his or her hands (e.g., eat, write, brush his/her teeth, comb his/her hair, etc.).

There are two versions of the product. One has background music and the other has no background music. Both have NO reading voices. Parents or teachers can read the poem for their learners as the video plays. Learners may also be asked to read the lines of the poem out loud. Scenes transition with a page curl effect.

The short video can be used by teachers as an introductory or motivational activity for a lesson on verbs. It can also be used for practice reading in Filipino.
