Pabula: Ang Pangako ni Lolo Pedro

Below is a PDF file with a fable that I've written about an old turtle keeping his promise. The story has four pages with illustrations. It's actually an easy read because some of the dialogue is repeated. After the story, there are two pages with 10 multiple-choice questions and one short answer question for the student. The story and all the illustrations are by Samut-samot Mom. The story is for personal and classroom use only. You may print and distribute it to your children or students, but you may not do so for profit or use it for any commercial purpose. You also may not upload the PDF file or any part of it in any other website such as (but not limited to) Scribd or SlideShare, or cloud storage sites such as (but not limited to) Google Drive or Dropbox. Click on the link below, not the image, to…

Ang Mabuting Samaritano

The PDF file below is a link to the Bible story of "The Good Samaritan" translated in Filipino. The student is asked to underline the complete subject (buong simuno o buong paksa) in each sentence of the story. The student is then asked to classify each sentence as having the karaniwang ayos (predicate before subject) or the di-karaniwan na ayos (subject before predicate). The first two pages of the PDF file are the worksheets and the last two pages are the answer keys. The image used in the story was obtained from the site: http://www.netart.us/good-samaritan-help-half-dead-traveller-coloring-page/. The worksheets are for personal and multi-classroom use only. You may print and distribute these to your children or students, but you may not do so for profit or use these for any commercial purpose. Mga Hanapbuhay (Part 1)

Some time ago, a reader asked me if I had materials on community helpers in Filipino. I replied that I did not have any worksheets on that topic because it would take some time to make the necessary illustrations. I decided to purchase clip art images online, but I realized that it was necessary to illustrate my own so as to show what Filipinos in different professions look like. Below is the link to an 8-page PDF file that can be printed to make a booklet that is half the size of a short bond paper. It has images of 13 different Filipino professions and a short description for each. The text may be used to practice reading in Filipino and the student can color the illustrations. On the last page of the booklet, the student is asked to draw himself or herself with the job he or she wishes…

Preschool Filipino Worksheets Bundle Vol. 1

Please note that this bundle is NOT FREE. This bundle is FOR SALE. This bundle and the Filipino Worksheets Bundle Volume 2 (2018) are (so far) the only things in my blog that are NOT FREE. All the other worksheets in this blog are free. I've been posting free worksheets since 2012 on this blog. Because this is a personal blog, it is difficult to sift through the posts to find what you need. To make it easier for people who are searching for worksheets for preschoolers, I've made a set of Filipino worksheets that focuses on the following topics: learning the 28 letters of the Filipino alphabet and their correct order; learning words that begin with (or have) the letters of the Filipino alphabet; learning how to write the uppercase and lowercase letters of the Filipino alphabet; learning how to distinguish the Filipino vowels (patinig) from the consonants (katinig);…
