Filipino Alphabet and Filipino Word Tracing Sheets

I redesigned the Filipino alphabet tracing sheets to include Filipino words that the student can trace. In each sheet, the student can trace and write the uppercase and lowercase letter as well as trace Filipino words that begin with the letter or has the letter. The pronunciation of each Filipino letter is included. The student may also be asked to color the illustrations.

Below is a pdf file showing how the letters in the Filipino alphabet are pronounced. Click on the link below, not the thumbnail, to open the pdf file.

For the Filipino letters F, J, Ñ, NG, Q, X, and Z, I used some proper nouns and English words that use these letters. The English words I used appear in the UP Diksiyonaryong Filipino.

Many of the illustrations in the handwriting worksheets were downloaded from sites with public domain images. The two sites openclipart.org and clker.com are good sources for teachers, tutors, and parents.

The following images were obtained from openclipart.org and are public domain: bahay, bulaklak, bola, compact disc, cellphone, espada, engkantada, elepante, fast food, French fries, futbol, girl with bouquet of roses (Flores de Mayo), gitara, isda, ina, jaguar, jack, kotse, kabayo, loro, nota, niyebe, bungo, origami, boy (for opo), ospital, payong, paruparo, Qur’an, radyo, rosas, relos, reyna, regalo, robot, susi, tinapay, tigre, usa, unggoy, van, valentine, Xerox, Xmas tree, lynx, yungib, zebra, and Zeus.

The following images were obtained from clker.com and are public domain: ibon, ilaw, jigsaw puzzle, lapis, langgam, kambing, puno, quiz, sulat, volleyball, wok, and X-ray.

The rest of the illustrations are by samutsamot_mom.

You may print and distribute these worksheets to your students or children, but you may not do so for profit.

Each pdf file has five or four letters. Sample pages are shown below the links. Click on the link below, not the thumbnail, to open the pdf file in a new tab. Each file is over 1 MB, so it might take some time to download.
