Panghalip na Panao Worksheets (Part 2)

The five pdf worksheets below are about Filipino personal pronouns or panghalip na panao.  A table of Filipino personal pronouns is shown below. Click the table to enlarge it.

Panghalip Panao

The Kailanan ng Panghalip na Panao refers to the grammatical number of a personal pronoun, whether it is singular (isahan) or plural (maramihan).

The Panauhan ng Panghalip na Panao refers to the grammatical person of a personal pronoun.

  • Unang Panauhan  (First Person) – refers to the speaker or speakers
  • Pangalawang Panauhan (Second Person) – refers to the person or persons being addressed by the speaker or speakers
  • Pangatlong Panauhan (Third Person) – refers to the person or persons other than the speaker/speakers and the person/persons being addressed; refers to the person or persons being talked about

Based on a few Filipino textbooks, the personal pronouns in black (in the table above) are introduced in second grade. The worksheets in this post only deals with the pronouns in black. The worksheets in this post are appropriate for second grade students.

The pronouns in red are introduced in fourth grade.  In first grade, only the following personal pronouns are taught: ako, kami, ikaw, kayo, siya, and sila.

You may download and print the worksheets below for your children or students.  Please do not reproduce or distribute them for profit.

1. Panghalip na Panaong Isahan_1 : This 15-item worksheet asks the student to circle the personal pronoun (singular) in each sentence.

2. Panghalip na Panaong Isahan_2 : This 15-item worksheet asks the student to underline the personal pronoun (singular) that completes the sentence. The student will choose an answer from a group of three personal pronouns.

3. Panghalip na Panaong Maramihan_1 : This 15-item worksheet asks the student to circle the personal pronoun (plural) in each sentence.

4. Panghalip na Panaong Maramihan_2 : This 15-item worksheet asks the student to underline the personal pronoun (plural) that completes the sentence. The student will choose an answer from a group of three personal pronouns.

5. Panghalip na Panao_6 : This 15-item worksheet asks the student to circle all the personal pronouns (singular or plural) in each sentence.
